Ok, one down one to go. Junior had the first of his double header games to try and secure the playoff place for second place and all went well. His team cruised to a 9-1 victory so are now 3 points behind the team in second with a superior goal difference. Apparently this means if they win the last game they will get home advantage in the play off match.
Junior played well and ran rings around his marker. He failed to score but not by any fault of his own. The keeper pulled of at least 3 saves to deny him, one of which was truly spectacular. And his corners were just begging for someone to connect with and plant in the back of the net.
So, its onto the last game this coming sunday with all to play for. Fingers, toes et al crossed .....
